Year
2023-2024FantasEyes is a design and manufacturing company specializing in sunglasses and jewelry. In 2023, I began in the jewelry department, designing a variety of womenβs and childrenβs hang tags, packaging, hangers, and more for both internal brands and private label, including special βmommy and meβ sets.
After transitioning to the sunglasses department, I continued creating packaging, hang tags, and other materials for kids or young adult brands for Claireβs, Target (Wild Fable), Walmart (Time and Tru) and more.
Pages from a catalog for internal and external use, showcasing packaging for in-house brands such as Twelve, Rampage, and Lu Gaeta. The packaging design process involved the following:
- Receiving jewelry from the product development team
-
Conducting comp shopping and gathering inspiration for packaging concepts
-
Brainstorming ideas, designing packaging, and creating physical mockups to determine accurate sizing
-
Developing detailed tech packs for factories, including specifications for materials, textures, colors, handfeel, and more
-
Reviewing factory mockup samples
-
Meeting with sales and the creative director to refine and approve designs
-
Moving approved designs into mass production
Created physical mockups to finalize accurate sizing and cut lines before developing tech packs for factories.
